How Horses Make a Difference

FENCE is proud to offer Therapeutic Riding of Tryon (TROT). A program that provides equine assisted services for adults and children who have a physical, developmental, or cognitive disability in a safe, friendly, and supportive environment.

As a Premier Accredited Center of theย Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International, TROT follows theย strict standards set by PATH Intl.ย for safety and effective teaching. The program is open to residents of Polk, Henderson and Rutherford counties in North Carolina, and Spartanburg and Greenville counties in South Carolina.

The Benefits

Equine Assisted Services (EAS) support individuals having physical, cognitive, emotional, and social disabilities. Alongside learning horsemanship and horse care, riders often experience:
